Sensitive Horsemanship

This is still being built and training materials being written

It is not enough to interact with your horse in a sensitive manner. It is also about managing his environment in a sensitive manner: feeding, stable and pasture management, choice of saddlery and equipment, grooming - you name it. Only a combination of sensitive interaction and sensitive management can result in a truly contented horse. Thus, a sensitive horseman needs to have a good understanding of equine care too.

There are about as many combinations of methods, feeds, bedding, equipment, saddlery, shoeing methods, etc., as there are horses in the world, each of which may be good for one horse but bad for another. So knowledge of as many variations as possible, along with staying up-to-date with the latest products and scientific research, will enable the sensitive horseman to adapt their methods to suit any particular horse.

To that effect we have a number of courses available, from stable, yard and pasture management to feeding and saddlery / equipment. Some of these can be downloaded as theory sheets, or you can book one or more practical training sessions. Please enquire for more information.

Please feel free to contact me on info@sensitivehorsemanship.com if you have any questions, for bookings or anything.
